like-fireandpowder-deactivated2 asked: I also recently finished my swimming career. I swam one and a half seasons for a D1 college team and then had to quit due to injury. Though I've always followed the Olympics, I've been following more closely than usual this time because one of my friends is competing. Yesterday he won bronze in the 4x100free relay and I started crying. Half of the tears were out of happiness for my friend but the other half came from a huge part of me that misses being in the water and competing. I want to swim!
So you are Russian??? Or know someone that is! I understand completely what you have to go through. The pool is magnetic sometimes. Hopefully one day you will be able to swim again!
